Another box-making workshop with Sarah Bryant, London Centre for Book Arts, London E3

A ‘last chance’ opportunity to learn more about box-making from book artist/letterpress printer, Sarah Bryant, before she moves back to the US.

We learned how to transform these – a magnet and tiny metal plate; card, paper and bookcloth:

into this: a partitioned box with a magnetic closure. It makes a most satisfying snap as it closes.

No particular plans for using these structures right now, but I like knowing how to make containers that function well.
